About Me

Hello there! My name is Liam and I'm a level designer. 

Level design has always been my favourite part of game development. It’s something I’m always thinking about when I play games, so much so that I can’t play a game without noticing the neat tricks a level designer has used and learning from it to improve my own skills.

 

I graduated from university with a first class honours degree in computer game design and technology, where I studied the process of games development, from concept and level design to production and testing. My final dissertation was based around level design and how environments can be built to help a player navigate a 3D environment. After university I spent 3 years solo developing and releasing an on-rails multiplayer game, Dead Containment, before being hired as a gameplay designer for a well known games company.
